I miss double coupons

I use to save a lot of money with double coupons. I really miss
those days. I still use coupons on sale and non sale items.

I miss the double coupons at Kroger.  The Foodfair that is located near my home still doubles coupons up to $1.00.  Unfortunately their prices are higher to start with so the double coupon value just brings the price down to Kroger's every day price.

Yes they were really nicce, but now everyone is stingy with their offers and do not want to offer them anyore.  Too sad

That's really unfortunate that some stores don't do double coupons anymore!

They still double coupon at some stores like Tom Thumb/Safeway /Randall's.  I used to work there so I know.  They just limit how many you can use in one transaction.  With all the ecoupons they may all stop accepting coupons all together.

Where I am, Giant Eagle doubles coupons. There's also another local supermarket that doubles coupons. Both stores double them up to 99 cents. It's a good deal, if you can find some useful coupons.

Most of the stores in my area don't double coupons. I have a hard time finding coupons for items that I actually use.

none of the stores in my are will double coupons anymore. So sad.  I guess all the extreme couponers are the cause of it  lol.  I'm not one of them but i sure did like the double coupon days

I live in Idaho and none of the stores in my area double coupons anymore. Albertsons use to double up to $1 and therefore Walmart use to match it, but then Albertsons stopped doubling, so everybody else stopped. I believe KMart were the last ones to stop doubling. It's a shame really. I think the manufacturers miss out also because now that the stores don't double anymore, I don't do coupons altogether. Occasionally I will use one if I would have bought the item anyway and I know I like it, however for new products etc. I just use the coupon and therefore don't buy the new product. So we all miss out.

Nowadays, you have to be more strategic by waiting until things go on sale and then hopefully finding a coupon to match the sale items.
