I agree to wait until they are ready because you can lead a "horse" to water but you can't make him drink.

If you go to huggies website they offer you a FREE potty training success dvd, this dvd worked wonders for my youngest daughter. There are games, songs and tips for parents. I had tried everything with my daughter but for some reason this dvd did the trick. GOOD LUCK, I know its hard but just remember also she/he will go when they are ready and it does not matter on what age someone else's child was potty trained. Seriously my oldest was potty trained at 2 and 1/2 and my youngest at 4.

Wait until they show interest and never force a child to do it.

depends if its a boy or girl.
with my nephew, his father would show him not to be afraid of the big potty.
with my niece, its been hard, she cries for help and clings for her life.

Potty Training is hard. I am potty training my two year old now. She was doing really good and then she just got lazy and stopped. She cries every time I take her to the toilet. What to do?

Man, that's a hard one! When we started to try and potty train our little one, she took off running through the house naked, stood in the doorway, and peed on the floor, looking straight at both of us, like the exorsist. And then, she laughed at us!!!!! For us, If you can catch her, you can potty train her!!!!!!!!!!

When they are about 2, every time you change their diaper, set them on the toilet and tell them that's where they go potty.  Praise them and make a big deal out of it.  I potty-trained my kids real fast this way.  let them get used to the transition.

my son is 21 months and he is starting to show signs of it too. We're buying him the potty he picked out in a couple weeks and just letting him do his thing... i mean we'll help but its just better to let them decide otherwise itll be an uphill battle
