I'm in Jersey and there was no hurricane coming our way. I think it was in the south. Where are you?

Goodness No - we're in a cornfield 70+ miles away from Chicago.  Our worst weather influenced cancellation has been my son's 8th grade graduation.  We've rescheduled it about 4 times and each time we get a storm.  Loose power.  Etc.  We had a tornado touch down 3 towns over so all the towns are cleaning up around that.  It was so bad the detasseling crew my kids work for called for volunteers to clean up the fields.
