I was never taught to do it as a child and I only make it when I change my sheets. But now that I have children, I wondered if I was supposed to teach them to make their beds.

Yes I do think that if you teach a child to make his/her bed, that they will continue to do it in adulthood. My mum was a stickler at making us do the 'jobs' before the good stuff. Now that I'm grown up I don't allow myself the good stuff until the boring jobs are done. I was the same in my job. I would do first all the jobs I didn't want to do so that I could look forward to the work I did enjoy. I've become my own parent! Yay  ???

I had to learn how to make my bed as a child.  I am happy to do it.  I now need to invest in some bedspreads.   :rainbow: :rose:

I learned how to make my bed, and my mother always tried to make me do it. I haven't bothered to do so since I was around 12 years old.
