I don't have much luck at thrift stores. Maybe it is my location (not very high end area). i do donate a lot though.

What area are you in? The area I live in San Diego there is alot of different thrift stores.  You could also do a search on Craig's lists I know there are Thrift stores that advertise their merchandise on there.

I don't go to them often, but I do like to shop in them.

That's the only place my daughter goes... I have given to just about all the places, so I know they have good stuff...

I enjoy going to them, like to browse.  And once in a while I will buy something. Have found a few really good items. I have gotten where if I buy an item I get rid of an item. So if I don't have something I want to donate, I don't buy.  Gotta start looking because now I have an urge to go shopping.
