types of hangers

do you have a preference for what type of hanger you use for your clothes?
wood? plastic? thick? thin?

I prefer the plastic ones and, no, color is no big deal.  I like the ones that have the little extra hooks or whatever you want to call them because I actually do hang up my tank tops in the summer season when I am using them.  I HATE wire hangers and will not use them.

After watching Mommie Dearest, my best friend swore off wire hangers and is trying to get me to switch out all of my wire hangers. I actually don't have a real preference, but since my parents had always used wire ones, I just "inherited" them when I moved out so I'm still using mostly wire ones.

I gave away to the goodwill about 1000s of wire old hangers.  I like to shop for bright color plastic thicker hangers for ts and dresses and I have a couple of suit wooden hangers made out of ceder.

I like the plastic, and the ones with the little hooks. I hate the wire ones. But those I still have around hubby uses them for several things. Like Easter he made a neat hanger ad hung a little Easter bunny basket on it and filled it with some candy and put it over in the back yard of our neighbor and Steve is going crazy trying learn who did it. Steve is still laughing over it though. Sooner or later he will figure out that hubby did it.

I prefer the hard plastic ones that have the little hooks on them. My husband uses only metal hangers on his work uniforms and the plastic on every thing else.

I like the colorful plastic hangers, for most things.  I've had fun gathering up purple and some black for most clothes.  I even found some heavy coat hangers in purple plastic.  I do also have some skirt/pant hangers that clip on, but they don't come in fun colors.

For my suits I like the word ones I have a place for you hope my pants on my shirts of the regular plastic hangers good. For regular pants once a plastic better because

I don't think that much into it. I usually just use whichever one is cheapest.

I use the plastic hangers on all my clothes.  And I like to buy a different color every time I need to buy some more.  I have all kinds of bright colors hanging in my closet right now.

I use only plastic hangers!  I hate the wire ones and just give them away when I get them from dry cleaners!

Jackets and pants usually go on wood hangers, shirts on wire hangers.
