grandsons ,change schools

so my daughtr going to jail for three years and i have to take her two boys (11) and (9) in which means thy have to switch schools and they have never gone to any other school,any suggestions on how to move them gracefully

Talk to them about the situation. Free counseling are available from schools or public help centers if u having a hard time talking to them.

make it an adventure --you be excited and they will feed off that--I hate to hear they have to go through this but thank goodness they have you to help them get through this horrible time

well guess it not going to be my problem now there dad is taking them so we will hopefully get visitation,my heart aches but what can you do

Kids adjust easy that age I been thou my 7 yr old had change school when mom was in jail and he did better than I thought.

My daughter moved to Marietta, GA and I have had my grandson for the past two years.  He adjusted very well to moving in with my hubby and me and has done very well in school.  He is the only All A Honor Roll student in his room for the third time in a row.  I think your grandsons will do as well, and good luck. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
