pills and containers
« on: March 15, 2014, 07:37:23 am »
There is a pill container that has A.M. on one half and P.M. on the other half.
I saw a husband and wife at breakfast. The husband told me that his pills are in the A.M. slot and her pills are in the P.M. slot. How clever.

I guess it is a clever idea, but it seems like it could present a problem.  Do they take there pills at the same time of day?  Are they always together when it is time take them?  If they take them in the morning it shouldn't be a problem but you can see what I mean.

That is clever - a very nice idea for them to be able to help each other with medication.  I need to get one of those for myself.  Hubby had one but I wasn't taking anything when he passed away so I gave it to someone who needed it.  I need it now just for me unfortunately but again that was an adorable idea those two had.

What if the pills get  mixed up? I would like to have my pills separate to avoid confusion.

I guess that is a good idea but it could also be confusing.  Would be easy to open the wrong one and take the wrong meds.  Looks like it would be better to get 2.  A pink one and a blue one.   :D

I have two bottles of Ibuprofen bubble gum liquid medication for my two children. One for each of them. I don't want to confuse when I last gave a dose to each of them and as they are often ill at the same time, I write down a simple schedule of what I've given to who in separate containers! It works really well.

If it works, that's good....everyone has their own ideas about different ideas to do..my 9 year old granddaughter has growing pains in her legs and the doctor told us we could giver her 1 ibuprofen a day..I kept hers in a separate bottle with her name on it..That way if she needed she could get one if needed..it was always in her reach..she always asks before taking one..

I really wish there were more sizes for pills.  I generally don't take pills, but when I'm sick, I will take stuff like aleve and dayquil and such.  With that, I don't need a massive pill bottle to take with me, yet there isn't a small one that will fit what I need.
