My best friend  (woman) died in February 2006 at the age of 48.  I ran into my other friend today; it's her birthday and she is 56 now.  I don't have many men friends.

oh I am so sorry to hear that msmoneybags, that is so sad. I had one best friend up until the end of January of this year, she basically lied to me and she got caught and she decided to stop talking to me due to her shame & guilt! LOL! 18 yrs of loyalty down the drain. But she will be back crying and this time I cannot take her back. She tangled her last web she did weave! Oh well, I don't have many girlfriends, they are more like acquaintances. But I much rather hang out with guys (I have a lot of cop friends) than women because women are all drama and a bunch of yentas...lol. I'm a woman but rather have a male friend as company.

I think I have a pretty even number of male and female friends. I've probably been friends with some of the guys longer though
