I enjoy being alone and anytime someone has to pay someone to be their friend....

they really lack the confidence to establish friendships in a normal and healthy way.   :heart:

I would never do that. However I saw a movie like that called 'Can't Buy Me Love'. Basically, it was about a young poor guy who went to a high school. He wanted to be popular. So he pays this popular girl to go out with him. Unfortunately, things got ugly. It was a nice movie.
