Just a thought
« on: February 20, 2014, 12:46:05 pm »
Under the Paid to Call offers on the ones for Auto Insurance it says NO OBLIGATION but to receive credit it says you must not only stay on the line for x number of minutes but also get an insurance quote.  I realize you do not have to accept it but that's a lot of trouble for $2 in my opinion.

Has anybody else done this?  Do you like them?  Just the insurance one.

I have been thinking about doing those.  I still am not sure if I want to.  Do you get telemarketers calling you after your done?  Do you have to give out personal information?

I have done one of those calls, but I was actually interested in a quote so it didn't bother me.  You DO have to give personal information though, so be ready for that!  It's an easy way to make an extra $2 if you're in the market for new insurance.

On the auto Insurance calls I haven't done one in a while.. But what i usually do.. Is i first introduce myself and tell them i'm shopping around for the cheapest insurance for my auto that will actally be more convient for me in my area.. They usually give you a quote on any specific and then they will tell you they will shop around for you.. I usually decline this offer and tell them i will call back if i'm intrested and thank them for their time.. I usually get call backs from time to time but i tell them the person doesn't live here.. I once used a police soundboard and didn't recieve another call LOL i thought that was hillarious. (:

What is a police sound board, that sounds fun for a lot of unwanted callers!

I haven't even looked at the paid to calls. When I first started doing sites like FC I just was not prepared for the unwanted calls that came with finishing a particular offer. I'll do an offer once in a while but I'm too scared to do a paid to call, haha.

I would think if you just answered 911 what is your emergency it would scare them enough to not call back.  I never thought of that.  Although I did have a jerk bugging me once and kept asking for my phone number and I gave him the number to central dispatch. lol

THANK YOU!  This site has hundreds of things on it.  Some of these under pranks for telemarketers are hilarious.  Almost makes me long for a telemarketing call.  And this guy is So serious. lol  And I thought Pinterest was a waste of my time.  Now I have something else to waste it. :D
