The free way is to use Blogger (blogspot.com). If you're serious about blogging you would get your own hosting and use Wordpress.org

We had to start one in one of my college classes a few years back. That one was pretty easy because we were given assigned topics to right about. You can use a host like blogger.com or blogspot.com and create your own page. Really good idea if you have a lot of knowledge with one particular topic. Good luck!

I use tumblr and it's pretty easy. You just start making posts about whatever you want. Then add tags so that other people can find your blog.

Google has one of the easiest ones to use called Blogger. I would start there. Or you can look at a site called Weebly. They also have an easy blog creator.
