I'm thinking about buying a dog soon. I'm not sure what kind I want though. I like beagles, yorkies, maltese.
Would it be best to get one from a breeder? I was gonna adopt one from a shelter or go to a pet store.

I, too, plan to adopt a dog.  I have been looking for a poodle!  Look up "The intelligence of dogs" and you will see the poodle is number 2 in intelligence.  Only second to the border collie which requires a lot of exercising for which I just don't have the time to provide!   ;)

I have a Jack Russel Terrier and a Beagle Mix Mutt.
They are both great dogs with totally different temperaments.

We have 3 dogs but I'm only sure of the breed on one of them. Two of them we got from the pound and they weren't sure about one of them. We have a husky and malamute mix. We think the other one might have some blue heeler and all we know about our puppy is that his dad was some kind of hunting dog and his mom has great dane and chihuahua.

I don't have a dog but if I did I would have a cocker spaniel.  I think they are so cute.

All my neighbors has dogs.  My backyard, sideyard, and the corneryard so that is 5-sides of dogs.  I like dogs all sizes. it is very scary for my 3-month old kitty.

I have a lab mix. I got her at feeders supply when she was 8 weeks old and they say she is also mixed with siberien husky but I really do not see that in her.

I have a Rottweiler/Labrador mix. He's real goofy but very attached to my 7 and 9 year old sons. When we go sledging in the snow, he cannot bear to hear the children go flying down the hill on a sledge screaming - he things they are out of control. So, he runs after them and nudges them off the sledge to "rescue" them. The kids then get annoyed that the dog ruined their fun but he's pleased they're still alive!
