Jesus tells us here to 'keep your disagreement with another "between you & the other" and solve it there before escalating.'

However I don't think that's how it goes when the one with the disagreement is a woman., even though that's the way it should work.

The way I suppose it plays-out in reality: she has a disagreement with him and maybe 'confronts him about it,' and yet they don't resolve it; then--instead of 'confronting him with a few witnesses'--she straight-up 'reports him' to an "authority," which then starts another 'disagreement' with him  >:(

The way it should play out starts with that 'authority': the 'authority-figure' should confront the guy with the gal, and then the guy will know that the gal 'means business'!

Is that how it usually works out now  ???
------------------------------------------------------------------------------That's what a Pharisee might say today. You now have the chance to respond as my mentor Jesus-of-Joseph would, and I pray that you will!
