Crooked Bartenders

Has anyone else noticed that bartenders ofter give you a $1 less than your correct change when getting a drink??

I don't go to bars so I can't say this has ever happened to me. Maybe it's as a tip being calculated into your charge? Some restaurants do that, maybe some bars have started doing it to? I really don't know.

I don't think that's the case -- just bartenders wanting more money and hoping customers are not paying attention.

Also some bars don't even post prices, so you don't really know what a drink costs until your order it or you ask.

Nope my bartender is honest, I don't even have to tip him! Because I have a few at home, don't ever have to worry about things like that!

I have more so noticed bartenders making the tip you left larger than you actually left.  Easy for them to do when you pay with a card and they figure you are drunk and won't notice.
