How many 60 and over on FC?
« on: December 13, 2013, 07:15:42 am »
I sometimes think that because I'm older, I don't qualify for a lot of the survey's ... just wondering is the other boomers here notice this.  I think that's why I quit using FC way back when.  Altho I did make some money ...  :D

Actually Quite the contrary.. I think everyone get's disqualified equally as much as the next person.I am not in the 60 or older range.. and i get disqualifed alot as well.  I don't think they are geared towards any ages necessarily. I know the profiles on the side are suppost to help make them geared towards you but the more survey's i disqualify from i'm more i'm  sure they are not.. I phased out of a beef jerky study yesterday i would have passed with flying colors because i know my beef jerky ;). But unfortunetly it phased me out on the first click.. The survey's are hit or miss. Now some of the survey's are looking for certain demographics where sometimes it will be age or gender related but that don't come about to often.

I used to think that (I am 75), but I have been qualifying for more this year than ever before.

:glasses-nerdy: I am 60 and I found I rarely qualified for surveys now whether it is age related I don't know but kind of figure it is because of not having children under 18 in the household.  Doesn't matter I just don't waste my time on them but I wouldn't quit FC because of it either.  I just do what I can.  Have a great day all !

I'm 72 and no small children at home.  I hardly ever get qualified for the survey's.  I always figure its because of
my age and small income compared to those of you here that work and aren't retired on a fixed income.
But I keep trying and when I do get approved for a survey, I'm pleasantly surprised.  And thankful.

I personally don't think "age" has anything to do with it.  It's just a matter of what they ask compared to what we as "older" adults enjoy or are used to.

I am 70 and usually have a lot to say, but if they don't want my opions i just go on to another survey. But Fusion Cash has been having a lot of surveys on their page and i get a few of those. So a big thanks to Fusion Cash. I alos get some of the others once in a while. And now they have the peanut labs and they pay you a penny if you don qualifiy. So there is always a way to make some every day.

That's an interesting question. I sometimes wonder how many years I will be able to do FC because I notice some of you have been members for many years. I only joined this year. I am 45 with a 9 and 7 year old and currently there are many opportunities for earning but I wonder how that will change when I reach 60 and when my kids have left home.

Not quite there yet but I am working on it.  should be there in about 4 or 5 years.  As for disqualifications it is all a matter of what products the survey takers are looking for and what their target market is.  Most of the surveys I have seen are not really set to an age brackets as much as other factors such as wages, race, and sex.
