Adblock application on Chrome
« on: November 25, 2013, 09:55:44 am »
I added the Adblock application for Chrome yesterday and it seemed to do a good job blocking ads, but I now discovered that it is also blocking the list of radio stations on Radio Loyalty.

Does anyone know how to turn off the Adblock application and/or remove it?

I can't find any reference to the Adblock application on my computer (in programs to remove) or in the list of Applications.  When I looked at the Google applications, it wasn't there.  Am searching my computer for Adblock, but it hasn't come up with anything yet.

Help, please.

Found the ADBL icon on the main address line and figured out how to turn it on and off.  Was able to get the radio stations back.

Turns out that if I right click the icon, it gives me the option to uninstall the application.

So I'm good, but I'm leaving this thread just in cash any one has a similar problem.

click 3 bars in top right corner. then Settings. Click show advanced settings link at bottom of page. Then under Privacy click content settings. Scroll down until you see pop-up blocker. You can copy and paste the URL to allow it as an exception.

Thank you for this info.

I tried to look at this while in Firefox and it doesn't translate.  But it showed up when I used Chrome. Didn't realize that this facility was available and knowing it there may be useful in the future.

However, it's easier to use the ADP icon to disenable this App for the site, bring up the radio stations list, and then enable the App again.
