crunched for time
« on: October 19, 2013, 08:14:36 am »
Has someone ever stopped you asking for a favor when you are getting ready to go out somewhere?
Do [did] you graciously take a few minutes to listen and see what they want[ed]?
I had such a situation; there are times when I have to say "I'll talk to you later. I am going out now."
AND, in this situation:

I had half an hour before I was suppose to meet some ladies to go out for the evening. A neighbor asked me if we could talk about a design project we'll be working on. I took the time to sit down with her. It only took about 15 minutes. I still had time to get ready to go out.

I amaze myself sometimes. I might have been staring at the clock - getting nervous about my appointed outing.
I wish I could be as patient in some other situations.
