I love cats and dogs, and it is a real problem when you are not a pet lover and have a pet that you mistreat.  My friend had a puppy, and it was hard to tell her that her boyfriend beat the dog to death.  I had a Siamese kitten and it was poisoned to death by the man who lived across the hall.  Your cause is letting people know that you love animals and don't want to see them die senselessly.  Good luck.

A lot of animal shelters need a lot of funding. I know a lot of them have cut back a lot on services to the community they're supposed to be serving. There have been times where I've seen a stray animal roaming the streets in danger of getting killed and the animal shelters are either close that day or open later on in the day. It's kinda frustrating. Something needs to be done.
