Usually professors drop the lowest test grade, so not all is lost... Catch up on the basics and do the homework, it should help even if the teacher is just a dead weight. Seek help from classmates, friends, internet, or tutor if you don't understand a problem. Homework is very important because when I start doing all the homework for my classes, the material seems less intimidating and the knowledge flows through your mind easier.

I remember I did bad on my electrical communications midterm in my community college. The average grade of the class was so bad the Professor had to do a super curve to pass people... He square root the test grade and multiply it by 10... If you had a 50 on the the test you pass rofl... . Thankfully we adjusted to his testd and teaching style but that was a rough semester for many of my EET peers.

Don't be too hard on yourself.  Take a slower pace and do only as much as you need in order to succeed.

I failed an entire class because the prof was so boring. I just could not sit through an hour of his droning on and on.  I had to retake it, but with a different professor.  Maybe your course load is too heavy.

I'm taking Math, Earth System Science and Chem.

I was so confident in it. And then the test came and I blanked out.
