rechargeable batteries
« on: October 02, 2013, 05:54:07 am »
I replaced my battery and still got the message that the battery was low and "needed to be changed soon".
A few days later, I found out that I also need to wait for a red light next to the battery slot.

Sometimes they can be a pain. I don't think they fully recharge. Seems like they run out of juice really quick after recharging. I go back to buying the non-rechargeable ones for a while because I get frustrated.

Rechargeable batteries can really be a nuisance. I've had to routinely charge those myself more than I should.

I have given up on rechargeable batteries--I find I have to recharge so much that it is just easier to buy new batteries! I don't understand why they cost so much either they jus are not worth it!

I only trust certain brands of rechargeable. The cheap rechargeable are not worth it.

I have never had any luck with rechargeable batteries.  I usually get mad and end up throwing them away.

i just get regular batteries and they work so much better

I had converted to the rechargeable batteries in an effort to do my part in helping the environment.  After recovering from the initial price shock and used them for a while, I am now reverting back to the regular batteries.  The rechargeable batteries do not seem to hold the charge very long.
Have a wonderful day!

I find rechargable batteries are not good for many things. They do not hold a charge, they run out more quick and they are not really stable. I buy all my batteries for 99 cents lulz :3 I'm happy about that too! I thought i might as well try them for 99 cents.. because you get like 6 or 8 in a pack.. but.. i find they are a good buy and also that i get more than going to a big store and paying a lot of money for 4 batteries :/ just not worth it....

Rechargeable batteries don't last forever. You're lucky if you get a year out of them. But if you use them a lot like I do in my walkman then it's better than buying new ones every time.

I agree that rechargeable batteries seem to lose their charge much more quickly than regular batteries.  Most of the time a dependable battery is crucial, as often a person is away from home and their charger or replaceable battery stash, such as when taking photographs on a road trip or vacation.  Or even worse, find your charger terminals all corrupted from a rechargeable battery that leaked battery acid during the charging process.  After several bad experiences, I just do not trust rechargeable batteries.
