I like McDonald's french fries the best. But I'm not a french fry snob, I pretty much like any french fries. As long as they aren't soft and soggy.

I'm pretty flexible on the preparation of French fries, but I do like them in particular when they're a little saltier. The curly ones are particular favorites as I don't have them as often, but the one thing I really particularly try to avoid is very soggy ones.

I am very picky about my french fries, i like them to be crisp, sized proportionally, and salted or season just right.  Is anyone else the same way and what are some of the best restaurants for good frency fries?
If I am buying fast food I like the crinkle cut. I do like them a little crispy. I don't care for the shoestring French fries from most of the fast food places. Only curly fries will get my order. I like the spice on those fries.

Now in England we call our fries "chips" and they're fat, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.  Also, in Northern parts of England you can get gravy as your addition to chips.  Nice!  :P

I prefer my own fries. When ordering fries in the drive up I would have to say that Burger King, Arbies, Jack in the Box, and Wendy's are my favorites.

I am a little picky about my fries too. If I am eating McDonald's fries I like the soft, salty ones.

I am the same way about fries! They also have to be hot/warm. I can tell at times when they have been sitting there. My favs when i get fries are still from McDonalds, Burger King and Wendys

Hot, crisp fries are the only way to go!  I do like Red Robin fries, too.  We used to have a restaurant that would sell fresh made and fried ones by the bag with fry sauce and it was heavenly!!!

Not a French fry Snob, but I am a French Fry Fanatatic (However I do request no salt on my FF's at Mc D;s just so I can lightly salt n peper them myself... k I"m a FF Snob) My French Fry choice would be homefries (Made at home by me w/ vidallia onions and red n yellow peppers, season salt and some other spices) I like the Fries at 5 guys, chick fila (luv that polynesian sauce), boardwalk Fries.... i luv fries!!

:o I am the same - I love french fries but if they aren't really crisp and really hot then they are worthless.  I like chili's restaurant fries if you eat them there - to take them home is not gonna work.  I just as soon make my french fries at home in fact.
