Ok Fusion Cash has been my favorite PTC site so far... but are there others besides inboxdollars? what about this neobux i just saw an ad for??

It turned into a scam years ago. The only way to make money there is to spend more.
Just when you thought it was bad to degrade other sites.  I thought this was a NO NO. Since we never know who are many of fusion cash sponsors???

Point well taken

My other favorite is Swagbucks. They have lots of activities that pay including: videos(1-3pts), daily poll(1pt), noso(2pt), offers, surveys, tasks, toolbar, search, games, shopping,etc.. I usually get the amazon gift card for 450pts rather than $5 paypal cash as 500pts.

FusionCash is the best.  That being said I have been paid from SwagBucks, CashCrate UniqueRewards and NeoBux.

Out of the others mentioned on here, I agree that FC is still the best.

There are many true PTC sites (I tend to classify FC and Inbox Dollars as a GPT (Get Paid To) site instead of PTC (Paid To Click) since there are many different ways to make money on these sites instead of just clicking on ads, as you do with true PTC sites like Neobux or Clix Sense) that are not necessarily scams, but take a very long time to make any meaningful money with them, esp. if you don't want to spend any of your own money to do so.

Although I wouldn't necessarily call Neobux a scam since they do pay, as OldBuddy mentioned above a few years ago Neobux had drastically changed their pay rates for clicking on ads, while at the same time keeping their expenses (at least for renting referrals, upgrading memberships, etc.) the same. When they had first started, each click was worth 1-cent for standard ads, even for their free members, and they guaranteed 4 ads per day for those free members; but after the change, the values dropped to a 1/10-cent -- a 10-fold decrease in earnings. I know I lost a bunch of money when they did that... Many of my referrals saw that they weren't making nearly the amount that they had before, so they stopped clicking. Recycling didn't help much either, since 1) the cost to recycle was still the same price and 2) the "new" ones I got usually were just more unsatisfied members that dropped shortly after they made their change. Plus just before that, they had instituted a change which tacked on a fee if you let a rented referral expire. I had closed that account shortly after that change over, but last year I opened a new one to see if I could make money on it... Although I have been able to cash out a few dollars from it, I haven't made much on it esp. if you consider the amount that I've earned from FC in the same amount of time.

Also for any PTC sites that offer rented referrals, you have to spend a little extra time maintaining those referrals in order to make sure that they are making money for you. For example with Neobux, a standard member gets 1/2-cent per standard (and fixed-ad) clicks and cost 20-cents for 30-days. Thus those referrals need to average 1 and 1/3 clicks per day to break even and even more if you decide to "recycle" or change the referral that you have rented, since it costs 7-cents to recycle a referral. And in order for you to earn from these rented referrals, you need to click all of your fixed ads from the day before, so if you skip a day clicking ads, you also lose all of those referral clicks for the next day as well. So like for me, I tend to do less on-line stuff over the weekend, so I usually miss out on referral earnings twice a week.

I think if you are looking at pure PTC sites, Clix Sense is probably the best. Their upgraded membership costs less than $20 (compared with $90 for Neobux's cheapest upgrade), the click-values have a better average (I tend to earn between 10-15 cents per day with my own clicks and even closer to 20-25 cents if I'm very lucky vs. maybe 5 cents average on Neobux with 10 cents if I'm very lucky). Also on Clix Sense, you can earn down several levels from your referrals if they upgrade (eg if your referral has a referral of their own, you can earn from that 2nd level referral as well down thru 8 tiers of referrals whenever any of them upgrade their membership).

Probably the best way to earn money on these sites it NOT thru their method of getting money from clicking on ads, but rather by creating ads for yourself for some other product / site. For example, if you are making some pretty good money on your own thru FC, you may want to sign up on some other PTC site to advertise your own site / blog explaining how great FC is and providing your referral link for them to sign up under. I know many marketers will take their earnings from, say, Clix Sense and instead of cashing out, will use that money on advertising credits for their other site, esp. if the Return On Investment (ROI) for that other site is greater than what it costs to advertise. Also, if you create your own site / blog that describes how they can earn money, show proof of what you've made, and provide an e-mail for additional support, people are more willing to join under you knowing that they'll have that additional help in getting them started on making money on-line.

For comparison (in my own experience, counting only my own actions (eg no referral earnings)) I can make close to $100 per year with FC, $20-$30 with Clix Sense (being an upgraded member, after factoring in the cost of membership), and only about $5 with Neobux (standard membership since I seriously doubt I'd even come close to covering the expense of a Golden membership on my own).

I'm a member of both InboxDollars and Neobux (as well as several others).  From my perspective, if the site pays it's users consistently, it's a paying site.  Whether the site is conducive to the individual's talents to allow the individual to make money on the site up to the level of their expectations is another thing.

InboxDollars is more like FC than Neobux is.  IB has offers, videos, tasks, etc - you earn money, you cashout when you reach the payout threshold.  Some offers overlap with FC, some are different.  One tip I learned there is when it comes time to cashout, if you request your payment at the $30 payout, the site withholds a $3 processing fee, then immediately gives you a $3 bonus to start you off.  HOWEVER - if you wait to cashout until your balance is between $34-$35 dollars, you are given an offer to have the $3 processing fee waived if you can make it to $40 in 30.  Then once you reach $40, you keep all your money AND you still get the $3 bonus.  Just tip to keep an extra $3 cash on that site (same thing for their sister site SendEarnings).

Neobux, on the other hand, is primarily a PTC site and requires a completely different strategy/approach from a GPT site (like InboxDollars/FC).  Neobux changed its format about a year after I joined (I've been on the site for about 2.5 years now), but after learning how to leverage the format, I've found a system that works for me, and now I'm up to making about $20/month on the site (having not invested anything out of pocket - it's all been money earned from the site and re-invested).

When deciding to start with Neobux, plan to spend several months in a learning curve figuring out how the site works and how to leverage the site to eventually make money.  Be prepared to spend the first year just reinvesting everything you make trying to learn how to rent and manage referrals (which eventually will make you money if done right), earn enough to upgrade to the higher membership (first level Golden will start earning you money where you can start taking some money out).  The faster you figure out how the system works, the faster you can leverage it to start making a profit.

My recommendation is to set the goal to use their NeoPoints to buy your first Golden membership - takes about a year to earn those points.  Learn to do the tasks offered - save enough money to rent the smallest referral group and extend them for 240 days (best price option).  As your clicks and the referral earnings increase, then start renting the next highest level.  Don't be in a rush to rent too many referrals too soon - make sure you can afford them before you rent them.  Learn when to manually recycle referrals and when to let the system do that for free.  Start collecting NeoCoins - let them ride until you get to 100000 (that will trade for $175 - best exchange rate) - only use them sooner if you need money immediately to keep referrals.  Save as much money in your rental account and watch for special deals on rental renewals or memberships.  I used my collected NeoPoints for my Golden upgrade, then was able to take advantage of a $70 annual membership promo for a second year's extension.  By the time those expire, I'll have more than enough points for another year (or 2) membership.  That means I'll only have spent $70 of my Neobux earnings for 3 or 4 years of "Golden" membership (much better than shelling out $90/year for 3-4 years, right?).  Finding ways to leverage like this will help you be successful on that site - but it takes more time and study.

The reason most people fail at Neobux is they choose to invest in the site before understanding how to leverage the site - they lose their investment, and cut their losses or call it a scam.  Go in with low earning expectations and plan to slowly build.  If you do this, and if you find you get the hang of it, then you will eventually make increasing money on that site.  My current goal is to get up to $30/month by the end of the year - and hopefully up to $50 sometime next year.

If after reading the above, you think you are focused enough to put the time and effort to figure what system will work for you on Neobux - I say go for it.  Just have realistic expectations and put in the work, and it will eventually start paying off.

Hope you find some of this information useful.
