I don't like painting, but I do this for my home to save on cost of hiring a professional. The only part of the process I like is the great sensation of being in a newly painted room once finished, especially if my family chooses a different color.

I've never painted my own home.  I've rented or owned mobile homes so...  I painted sets for a movie once and would gladly do it again but I don't have a car with which to get to any sets.   

On the other hand I am an artist and craftsperson, but I prefer drawing over painting.  I like the dry media.  I have painted fabric though, but not for years.

Yes, I love to paint regardless of what it is. I really don't care for the cleanup as much but I do enjoy painting. I like stain furniture and cabinets as well. I love seeing the finished project.

I love to paint! I just started painting seriously in 2011 using Acrylics. So fun! But when you push yourself its stressful at the same time lol. I think real painters are never completely satisfied with their work. Theres always something to change.. or maybe ive just worked with some ocd painters i dont know. lol Ive worked with some amazing artists though that have taught me a lot.
But keeping up with the tools and paint is so expensive! Kinda sad I cant keep it up as much as Id like
Doing it just as a past time is great to though its always nice to let out some creativity every once in awhile.
