I live in Florida and no I wouldn't lie out on the beach if it was bad weather but to say you wouldn't live somewhere with a potential for hurricanes is funny because people live where it snows & sleets which is dangerous.  Anywhere can potentially have tornado's.  Can't run away from your destiny
