Coin Roll hunting

Banks that get boxes in arent searched by the tellers. The rolls inside are wrapped and sealed.

Pennies are a great place to start coin roll hunting because it is cheap, only $25 for a box of 2500 coins.

The ones that are the most valuable are 1909 S VDB, 1914D, 1922D and 1931S.

I saw a 1914D penny sell for $2000 on ebay last night!

I pull out all the wheat pennies and any that are older that look brand new.  Those sell pretty quickly.

also, all 2009 nickels, dimes and quarters seem to be in shorter supply because the mint stopped their printing early because of the Crash of 2008. Try to find a 2009 dime!

I went through a box of 2500 dimes and only found 3 2009 dimes!!!

How do you get whole boxes? Do you just ask at the bank? Do they let you bring the coins back after you've gone through and got the ones you wnat?

Yes - How do you know which ones are worth anything.  Is there a website that can help with this.  It sounds kinda fun
