You should tell Grandma that many of your FC friends wish her a Happy Birthday!

It would be interesting to visit with her and have her tell you about "the old days"......she has seen the birth of so many new things.

Happy Belated 99th Birthday to your Grandma!  What a wonderful blessing!!  My Grandma turned 90 last March.  She is still as spry as she was 20 years ago.  She still lives by herself and takes care of herself.  She is such a blessing to me.  I live about 150 miles from her so I don't get to see her as often as I want to but I call her every night to see how her day went and to tell her how much I love her.  I lost my other grandmother two years ago.  She would have been 98 this October.  I won't mind living to my 90's if I'm in as good of shape as they are/were in their 90's!

That's so wonderful. I'm glad to hear that's she's doing so well at 99. My Dad is 90 and he still lives on his own , drives, takes care of him self, mows his own lawn....I have to admire that independence. Enjoy your day celebrating Grandma's birthday. Have fun.

Congratulations and Happy belated birthday to your grandmother.  If both mine keep living, one of mine will be turning 100 and the other 102 this fall.  So there's a possibility your grandmother may live to see you graduate.   

Mine sound like yours - neither look like they are centurians.  One still lives in her duplex - needs a walker to help get around and has my aunt and uncle who go down to help her with cooking and things - but she refuses to leaver her home.  That one fought off a pitbull who attacked her at the age of 90 and won.  My other grandma lives in an assisted facility and she still goes out for daily walks around the grounds - she always wants to keep moving.

I plan to be just like them - there's a lot of this world I want to explore before it's time for me to leave.

My maternal grandmother made it to the age of 94. My paternal grandmother died at 101.  I think I have longevity in my genes. Cherish every day.
