Who Waited Until The Last Day For Taxes?

Not me.  That would stress me out so much.  I do my taxes early so I can get my refund and then I don't have to worry about them anymore.

Even though I knew we had a refund coming, I kept putting off doing my taxes until April 14.

Over the years I have meet so many people who would wait for the last tax day to file.  They know they will IRS and every years I would tell them what they can do so they won't IRS, but they will not listen to you.   What else can I do.

My husband did!! Made me very nervous! Then he was of course running out o the pot office to mail in time!!!

I did this year because I knew I was going to owe the government money and I wanted to wait to the very last minute to file.

I did because this year I owed a lot due to starting a new business.... I almost had to file an extension since I tried the "Best of Both" program where you basically did your taxes by yourself, but then had a tax adviser look it over and file it. Unfortunately I took it to a brick & mortar office to have the adviser look it over, and neither I nor the adviser didn't realize that that particular office hadn't been set up to do that Best of Both service, so when the adviser went to file it, my return got "passed" to an on-line agent by mistake. We contacted that agent saying that the one in the office had already looked it over, so the on-line agent canceled her side, but it took all day for that action to process. Thus no one was able to look at my return nor could they file it until the Cancel action went through. Finally at about 8pm I was able to get back into my return, so I was able to e-file it before the deadline. Not something I ever want to do again; I think this year, I'll just do everything myself...

i dont wait that long. I tried and helped a friend around the 15th but things went crazy in her life so she couldnt get me all her info so i cant finsih her return. I think that she will get a refund so everything should be okay.

I have never waited until the last day to do my taxes.  Too many things can go wrong.  I don't like pressure and that would be a real stress test.

this year i didnt but i didnt file the year befores taxes until this year..im a slacker =/

I filed mine back in February but waited until April 15th to pay up.

I did mine this year in February...most year I'm down to the wire.

i dont have to do taxes.my husband gets a disability check.thats our only money coming in
