yes, I do believe goodness follows good. Like pay it forward and setting good examples. You might do something nice for someone and that might help them do good for someone in return.  Like planting a seed.

If you do something good, usually it speaks volumes and you will get your own reward in doing so.  I agree that your goodness comes back to you tenfold.  Don't be discouraged if people are ungrateful.  A lot of people look a gift horse in the mouth and expect something from them.  They use the term "you wash my back, I'll wash yours."  You should do good and not expect a lot.  God knows what you are doing and you will get a reward from Him.

That is what I always say to people when I help them out.  Be sure to help someone else in need and to do it out of love not pity.
