Bogus Survey Invite E-mails??

Thank you for the heads up! I get a lot of this type of garbage that goes to the junk folder which I delete quite often. I don't know anyway to prevent the trolls from getting wind or your email addy. Seems even the sites that really try to keep it quite can't really do that!

You're typically going to see a great increase in spam email whenever you sign up for the free offers here....just the "nature of the beast" so to speak. I just delete my spam folder regularly, but do a brief scan of it to make sure I'm not deleting something important.

Another question. Clicked on FC Surveys and Health and Wellness survey for $4.50. Was presented a form which showed my contact information and was asked to verify it. Closed the form and took no action. Went to my FC Account information and it said everything was OK and I was already subscribed to survey invites and such. What going on?

I had that happen the other day too! I clicked on a FC survey (don't remember which one) and it took me to my FC survey profile page. I did, however, update it because it needed it, but when I went back to the list of surveys and clicked on the same one (it was still there), it said I had already completed that survey!! UGH!!

Update. Still receiving "bogus survey invites" in my junk e-mail. Maybe FC Admin could tell us what is happening.

You know, they may not be coming from FC. Perhaps they are coming from something else you may have signed up for, like another survey site or just junk from another offer.

Thanks IceKitty. Don't know where they were coming from but they came complete with the FC logo and such. Thankfully they have stopped for now.

Very strange....kinda made me wonder....I hadn't even been getting the email invites lately, so I just went and checked and somehow I got unsubscribed from receiving the email invites and had to resubscribe.
