No ban.  I have no problem with background checks and I think people should be required to take a gun safety course. 

Problem is only law abiding people will comply and they aren't the ones you have to worry about.

I remember reading somewhere that during WW2 Emperor Hirohito asked one of his leading generals why he was against invading the U.S. The general answered "because there would be a rifle behind every blade of grass." Guns not only keep us safe from criminals, but also from enemy invasion. So I am against gun bans.

I'm really not for it cause if we got people blowing things up I would atleast want to have a gun for protection only

i don't own a gun, but know a lot of people who do, and not one of them has ever used it on a person. When i was married to the ex. i used his on a pack of dogs, they were trying to get to the cows that were having calves. I did not feel bad about taking them out. The cows were our   bread and butter. Wild dogs that kill are worse then most other preditors, The kill for the fun of it.   I shudder that my 2 littles might have been out there. Background checks are already a law. I do not believe the mentaly ill shoud have them or the criminals.  Every farmer, and rancher carrys a rifle in their pickups. And they are there for a reason. Which is to protect and defend.
