seems even though I have planted all these seeds-flower,I am no getting real good results.Water is precious, for sure, but water equals growth.  Should I water first thing in morning or LATE AT NIGHT?  suggestions welcome.

i don't know anything about desert gardens, but i do know that with most plants, the best time to water is morning. that gives the plant the time to absorb the water it needs and for the excess to evaporate while the sun's out. at night when the temperature is typically 15 degrees or so cooler than the day, you don't want excess water on the roots. It can lead to decay and possibly even kill the plant. Also- be careful no to over water them. especially if they're desert plants. remember in the desert, rain is scarce, so when it does rain, the plants there generally soak up all they can and retian it for a long time until the next rain. perhaps they're kind of like orchids that way. My orchid prefers to have her roots nearly completely dry between waterings. I water her 1-2 times a week, it varies depending on the humidity in the air and the temp.
good luck!
