Scrapple is a Pennsylvania Dutch thing. Like the previous person said, it's made up of pork, etc. you slice it and fry it a golden brown. You can either eat it plain, with ketchup, or put syrup over it. I think it's probably an acquired taste. I'm from PA, not PA Dutch, but grew up with it. It's ok, but my family loves it. You will find it in most diners on their breakfast menu.
