It depends on your wedding colors and the color scheme of your decorations and floral arrangements.  Personally I would avoid the off white and white dresses because you want to stand out from your bridal party, not blend into all the white.  Navy and gold is really pretty together, and without seeing the dresses is my top choice.  Other than that, the remaining colors would be ok.  Did you take a bridesmaid with you to look at the dress or send of a picture with the color options to the bridemaids (like from the designer's catalog or store you were browsing)?  Another thing would be try to hold the different colors up to your dress and see which color you like.  Your wedding day is all about you, but if you do not get some input from other people, you can drive yourself crazy!  Trust me, I went through this last year!  March 2008 was a stressful month for me when I was trying to decide on the bridemaid dresses.

i agree with this.
especially the bolded, underlined parts.

otherwise, for my opinion..
(without knowing your theme colors..)
i'm gonna say red OR pink would stand a good chance of clashing with your dress, depending on how extensive the trim is :/ i'd say go with sage, gold, or black.

While on the wedding topic, I'm getting married this Halloween. We are having a masquerade wedding. Colors are black, silver, and lavender. Any ideas on decorations? I was thinking of just over-using the feathers and masks...

a masquerade wedding sounds pretty awesome.
black tablecloths with a silver overlay would be really pretty.
