I started planting my garden with lettuce and peppers. Last year we had pretty luck on our peppers that ended up giving away to neighbors.

Yep, I too have started my gardening. Planting indoors so when the weather finally changes over they can go outside. I did really well with peppers and tomatoes last year and I too gave most of them away. I do so enjoy gardening. Last year I experimented with doing a lot of gardening out of pots and was very successful.

I need to look up planting gourds - my mom is always talking about gourds and how they saw a lot of gourds in Georgia when they went to visit her grandmother.  It would be a nice surprise for her.  Also she has some kind of flower seeds that I think I'll plant for her at her house.

I live on the Central Coast California and were having spring like weather... I just planted a bunch of wild-flower seeds also Sunflowers (one of my favorite), last years they got-up over 6ft. high... I grow in several wheelbarrows because goffers get to them in the ground... I don't kill anything (not even bugs if I can help it)... I also plant potatoes & tomatoes in pots... I really enjoy gardening. 

How do u take care of ur plant from dying or from anything getting to them I would really like to know so my plant don't die on me

  I'm not really sure what your asking but I think your referring to bugs and what keeps my plants from dying... Tell ya the truth, I don't mind removing the bugs and/or just flicking the off. .. Don't know what to tell ya besides keeping them watered (alot)... I don't grow vegetables to eat (only for the greenery) and I love when my flowers bloom.

I can't wait to start planting things outside. It makes me feel so good to watch things grow. Some plants are better than the others but if you plant them they will grow. I had some vegetables in my garden last year and the whole family loved it. I will definitely do it this year again. I love my roses too.

We plan to grow low carb veggies and some fruits.  We also plan to grow medicinal plants, once the danger of hard frost has passed.

The absolute worst part of living in an apartment building is... having no lawn! I want so badly to have a vegetable garden or at least a few spring posies! But living a building that shares a lawn with several other families means I can't be digging it up, even to put flowers in! My solution: To have a little window box! This spring I'm going to plant a little box of daises, my all-time favorite flower, on the window sill in my living room. I think it will be just enough to keep me sane while living here.

      Keep it a secret! When the snow is gone...while walking thru the trials I spread some wild flower seeds...and then I go back a month later and see the progress.

i live in a second-floor condo w/ a deck, so nothing elaborate.  but definitely a bunch of herbs for cooking, plants that the cat likes to eat (he's especially fond of lemongrass leaves), perilla (also known as shiso), lemon verbena, and some vegetables.
