If you have TRUE friends, you are lucky.  I have acquaintances.  I don't have friends because a false friend will turn on you in a second.

I have some close friends, but they live a distance from me, but we are always calling each other and some on facebook. I have recently opened another facebook acount and all that are on it are classmates and friends of just mine. The other is for hubby. i am working on putting some of his old friends on the on he gets on.

Sometimes I feel like I need new friends. I just moved an hour from all my old ones, which isnt too bad but its put a bit of a strain on things. So I am friendly with new people, classmates, co workers.. Ive definitely learned that good friends are very hard to come by. But what I appreciate is that my old friends are still my best friends no matter how much time we spend apart. When we meet up again its like I never left..those are the ones to keep (:

However if someone you thought was a friend becomes shady or backstabs you..drop them quick!!

I hear you on the needing new friends. I have found that as i have gotten older, my friends have stayed sort of immature. partying and clubbing all the time. I need some grown up friends, lol.

I hope you find a new and very great best friend.  I just recently lost my husband so I need a new best friend also.     My sons are like my best friends though.  They really watch out for me and we still enjoy doing things together even though they are grown.
