To those in Alabama this morning
« on: February 06, 2013, 04:11:11 am »
My heart truly goes out to you as I follow the news of all the celebrations going on for little Ethan's birthday.  How truly awesome to have entire communities rally around him at such a time for him and his family!  I wish I could reach out and wish him a happy, happy birthday and hope all starts to look up for him and his family.  It's hard to know the right words to say, but it is great to hear he is out of the hospital and back at home.

I can't even begin to imagine what those parents felt having their child taken and held.  It has to be the worst feeling in the world.

So glad that he is back home today.  May God grace him and his family as they adjust to the terror this has brought to their lives.  I always believe that good happens when people support one another and with all the support the world is showing this family, something good it bound to derive from it to somehow offset the terrible at least a little bit so that they will know that the world is not a terrible place and that there are more good kind people around them.

I love that a trip has been planned to Disney World for them.  I live in Florida and local school bus drivers drove their buses to the bus driver's funeral in a show of support.

They are blessed that things worked out like they did although I am sure it was traumatizing to all involved.  I really feel for the bus driver who lost his life.
