National Service Day

  Tomorrow is National Service Day in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.  There will be many opportunities to volunteer in your community.
I live in Florida and am going to help with Beach Cleanup.  There will be entertainment, a blood drive and many other activities.  If you live in
the Fort Pierce, Florida area or close to, come out and connect with the community!

:cat:Yeah! I am a former Florida resident (45yrs in Brevard County). I have always done this, national service day or not. And when I my girls were young, used a badge earning session for my girl scout troop

I have lived in Florida for thirty years and I try to help people every day.  I was posting this for the people who maybe didn't know about it.
It's great whenever you can help.

That is a good thing, I hope everyone is doing something to help others. There is harvesters open all year long where you can donate food and help others, donate a few can goods here and there.
