lol.

I do not make New Years resolutions. I think you are setting yourself up for failure if you think change can only begin on one day of the year.

I am not one for making resolutions, but I do think making resolutions can be helpful.  You can set yourself up for failure, or you can fail and then start over the next day.  I was watching Dr. Oz tonight on 60 Minutes or Dateline (I was taking surveys at the same time), and he said it is preferable to make a resolution as opposed to not making one because sometimes we just might be able to stick to them.

Resolutions are so very hard to commit to and keep up with. Personally, I decided one resolution for the year 2013; NOT TO MAKE ANY RESOLUTIONS. The funny thing about it is that I really made that a resolution and every since December 29, 2012 I have quit smoking. Its all a mind thing.

Great minds truly do think alike! I just posted a similar response to another thread.  I agree, it is a mind thing, take your goals day by day and don't look at the big picture of sacrifices and you are more likely to eventually see progress, which will motivate you to continue to succeed.

I think that, even if you only stick to your resolutions for one month, you are still better off then you were one month earlier. Building healthy habits is where it is at.  I set my goals on Saturday because I was too busy to set them earlier and am very excited to continue on a trail of improvement!  Somewhat bummed this morning because the battery on my life cycle was dead but this too shall be overcome!  I have stuck to hitting fusion cash everyday and am way ahead on my posts.  I am ahead of the game on my PTC posts and have prepared healthy meals for this week.  I have kept my expenses down and am ahead on my income.  I would like to see someone post a New Year's Resolution blog at least once a week to give encouragment to those that aren't keeping up.
