Happy Holidays or not

This was actually the best Christmas ever. So I was super excited. I get married in 2011 and I am usually a very nervous and timid person so last Christmas wasn't as fun. This year I decided to take a risk and start bonding with my husband's family. It was very fun and there were lots of laughs.

I Love Christmas.   This year I think everyone in our family was financially strapped, so not a lot of gift giving, just a lot of family time and great food.   (Of course for this littlest ones...they got gifts.)  It was actually one of the most relaxed holidays we have had in years.

This was the first Christmas without my grandma, which was strange.  I ended up having a great time with family, though.

I love the holidays but this year left me feeling exhausted. We had to make it to four different events with our newborn. It was a little stressful.
