I shop online and search for what I need or want.
Sometimes, it coincides with popular commercial ads or popular trends, sometimes not.

I make up my own mind, usually shop online for the best bargain, I'm cheap.

Sometimes, but usually if the item is something unique & something I've never see before.Otherwise, I just wait til the price goes down or when the trend get too old. This mostly in the area of clothing l still have a pair of gene's from ten years ago & today,see It on QVC for 19.99.My moto, save your monies for things that isn't recycled from 10yrs way back then!

I do my research, especially before buying a computer, camera, phone, etc.  I like to be informed and I want to get the best value for my money.  I go to cnet, amazon.com, and other places where you can read about the product you're buying and find out how other people like that particular product.  Commercials don't influence me much, they give  me ideas, but I don't necessarily let the commercial influence my buying decisions.
