My financial goals are the same as always - simply to make ends meet.  If I end the year in the black, so to speak, I'm happy.

A personal goal of mine is to save up this year for a new computer since my computer will be 4 years old this year. My mother likes to find ways to save money and lately she got interested in repurposing. Another thing I do is never get any fast food anymore just from my personal expenses. It's extremely rare when we get that food and it comes out of the monthly budget so that we can save our own spending money. I used to go out for fast food a lot in 2010, but now I save my money for what I most need.

Well since I think everyone's income is going to be decreasing, I am trying to reduce my expenses. We are currently working on reducing the amount of things we own. Looking for a more simplified life with only the items that add value to our lives.

To pay down debt and save more.
pay off debt, pay off debt and pay off debt ;D

I agree with both of these.  I am doing everything I can to try to earn  more money and to spend less.  I am working hard to try to get our loan interest down.  That would free up a lot of money to pay off other things.  I am trying to pay myself first, even if it is a tiny amount, just to be consistent.

I hope to save enough money to retire the second time.  So far still have not got enough.  Maybe will get to save more in 2013.  I am 71 and still working. SS is not enough to live on.  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and Happy New Year, hope you have a safe one.

Hopefully to reduce unnecessary expenses and to save more. Unlikely to make more money...no OT for me. And my hubby may or may not be able to take on extra work.

I am always looking for ways to reduce expenses because although the economy is in the tanker, the politicians think nothing of taxing even the poor people until you want to scream.  My goal is to Improve my finances in 2013 and do better than in 2012.
