One of those transactions is in parenthesis while the second one is not. I would assume by that and how my bank presents things that the first one is a pre-authorization (to make sure that you're not using a pre-paid debit card with only $1 on it) and the second is a refund. If need be, call your bank and ask them about it.

You have to become a true paying member - that is to not cancel after a week. Meaning that to get credit, you'd have to go through the entire free trial and go into your first month. A lot of people have had issues with it crediting, but I received my $20 credit the same day that my free trial ended.

I would maybe call the manager of Netflix and ask for a cancellation?

There is no problem here, mediachicken cancelled and they 'dropped' the pending authorization.  You were never actually charged a dime, all they did was authorize that your credit card was functional and had the ability to spend $9.89.  As the offer requirements say 'sign up and become a paying member' (which occurs on day 14 after you sign up) and you did not complete those requirements, we cannot issue credit.

Can I redo it? I never saw anywhere where it said to do that. You guys need to give more instructions. gptreasure.com tells me exactly what to do. And I'm a gold member, and they payout once a week. And they have 50x the amount of offers as you guys. Update your stuff, you guys are falling behind.

Sorry, but the offer is open to first-time customers only.  Since you already signed up and cancelled you aren't eligible for credit if you do it again.

Thanks for the feedback.  We're always working to find more offers.

Netflix is a hard offer to get the credit for. They are delayed and alot of people have problems.

almost any and all cc offers have to do that preliminary card authorization to be sure that you do have the funds. it may appear as a charge but, no..this is pretty common practice. our gas station does it here, so it always appears that i have been charged different or, twice for one transaction.

Those pre-authorization numbers will get you every time, especially if nothing is stated in the agreement.  But the I don't sign on for those free trials because there is always a trick going on somewhere with them.  Is it worth it for the credit you (may) receive or not? :dontknow:
