Do you get much junk mail to your house?

Yes, I get tons...I recycle so it makes me feel a bit better, but its ridiculous how much i get

No I don't get a whole lot of paper junk mail from the sites that I've signed up with and I use more than FC but I have 4 different e-mail addresses for my 4 different sites and they are completely full every day...around 2500 e-mails....that's the reason that I also have a personal e-mail account so I don't end up deleting something that I should have kept...

Ok, so I was just looking around here, and my McAfee comes up with this alert that this is a site known to spam. I was just like "What?", then I see it says "After registering, we received 1.0 extra Emails. They were somewhat spammy." So I look at their site report and it shows the extra "spam" email...
IT WAS THE REGISTRATION EMAIL. How much dumber can you get? Then I get another message saying it spams AND scams. SO I looked it up.
Now, if you've been around the forums, you see that a lot of people get fed up with this site because they can't get their money, and start ranting about how much of a waste of time this is. We all know that it's all  , but they don't get it so they keep going, and get banned. Well, instead of taking it like MATURE people, they decided to go to McAfee instead and rant THERE. So what happens is, this site has a BAD rep with McAfee. And aall because of the idiots we run into on here.


Just thought I'd say that because as far as I see, this thread is probably the closest topic.

I've never gotten much junk mail which is strange to me, living at my dad's house growing up we had tons of it, now that I'm on my own I have practically none, even from the companies I order things from.

  Websites usually state 'we will not sell your name, address and personal information' but they do to marketing companies that sell mailing addresses, including those with envelope stickers. It is a highly profitable business. It is the reason you get so much junk USA mail.

I've noticed im gettin a lot more junk mail but the way i see it...... makes good reading material for when you " drop the browns off at the super bowl "  if you catch my drift....lol  

I gotta admit, that's a new one on me  

After I read it, I run it through the shredder and pass it to my worm bin.

yeppers, at least a couple times a week ofcoarse. But what's really crazy is I actually got this thing in the main for home surveys or whatever and for the month of october they want me to send my junk mail to them for a chance to win $100. I figure heck ya I'll do it, doesn't hurt. Just another way to recycle I guess

   I know what you mean...but I wonder how they got my name and address in the first place.  Some companies sell your name and address to mass mailers.

yeah receive 3 or 4 pieces in mail a day not to mention junk through email everyday.

I get a fair amount of junk mail and I use a separate email account for surveys.
