Teen Pregnancy

Is it me or does anyone else think that mothers should have their daughters get on the shot once they turn 14? Then they should tell their daughters that they are giving them a health vitamin.
What's everyone else thought on this issue?

I am not quite sure if you mean that awful Gardasil vaccination shot they are trying to push on all the young teen girls (and boys now too) or birth control but I am not aware of any that come in shot form so I am assuming you mean the first one. 

All I can say is make sure you do your own research on any drug or treatment recommended for you, your children or loved ones. Don't take your Dr's word for it because most Doctors today are trained to believe the Pharmaceutical Drug Companies glowing reports about their products. They are parrots for the drug industry.  A good doctor will encourage you to research it on your own.

At my daughter's last Dr.'s visit the Dr. told us how safe Gardasil was and how every young girl should have the shot.  When I told her no, because there was too much press on it and I didn't feel it was safe.  The Dr. basically scoffed at that and said that no one has ever died from the vaccine which I know to be 100% incorrect.  So she lied to us or was completely ignorant of the facts.  Either way, she will no longer have the privilege of taking care of our kids.


And no, I wouldn't lie to my children telling them they are receiving vitamins.

Just tell them the truth an let them know about diseases an the responsibility with becoming pregnant

shot at an early age is some times good becuz no matter how many times you drill it in there head they will still have sex. but you shouldn't lie to the about "vitiams" and just be honest its going to happen sooner or later its better to be open then not

I AGREE BIG TIME.  really they shouldnt be watching anything that have sexy in it, but cannot say that cause any movie you get pg, or rated g or etc. you will see it anyday all day.

If you are gonna lie... GO BIG!

Make up some story that scares them. Make them think that if they have sex before they get married that when they die they will live underground with fire and demons.

i will NOT force my daughter to the shot. man not everybody's body can handle the shot even. It didnt work for me and on top of that some women get pregnant off the shot even thou they followed the instructions exactly like doctor said.
