I wonder why in the world is it so hard to get a sick,special needs on disability.

      The real problem is "because they are disabled".

I have been waiting for a year, I got hit by a car in 2009, and have rod in my leg, screws in shoulder and a busted right inside fracture in foot, I tried to work but keep going back on crutchs, they are not in a hurry and it makes me sick that I see people who have substance abuse issues get it because they won't work and then they sit back and spend all their money on booze. I can not work and it would be nice to receive disability, good luck to me, huh

Im sorry to hear that.i hope you get it soon.but like u said they get it and spend it on stuff they can live without.or they pretend to be crazy and they get it. I was trying to get for my baby he was born with a double cleft lip and palete.And has had 4 surgeries so far and still more to go.he cant talk plain at all.And now he beats his head severely.The harder he hits the better it feels.He searches for places to hit.hes already busted his head open on the bathtub cuz he had beat his head on tub.He even beats his head when we go outside.And I cant go back to work cuz on having to take him for his surgeries and drs appt.and plus the daycares wont keep him.And im a single parent so that just leaves me.
