Save? The word is funny when on the Social Security system.  Barely pay the bills and live month to month.  But that is why I thank God for sites like this.

My husband and I don't make a whole lot...we only save about $50 right now, but I'm hoping we can bump it up after the holidays.
Especially if he gets a new job like he's trying for.
$10,000 a year more!

my husband and I each try to save 100 per week also but let me tell you it is very hard  both of my children make more than I do and I make lilttle I have no idea how the people that live on only social security can do it most of my friends make at least twice the amount as me I'm begininning to think the more you make the more you spend ???

I try and save 150 each pay but i need to save at least 500

I used to save 50.00 each payday. i need to come up with more money to payoff my bills.
