Wouldn't call myself a democrat, really, but I did happen to lean that way this election. I did vote, yes. Personally I don't vote based on party, I vote based on what the candidate stands for.

I voted in the presidential election, but I voted for a person. I am not even sure what party he was affiliated with. Should it matter? If Mickey Mouse was a Democrat, would people vote for him? Unfortunately, I believe some would.
