 reading.  ANYTHING.  I don't have as much time as I use too for it, but any spare minute I can, I read.  I love the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, but I ready anything fiction, non-fiction...everything.  I always have a book with me, so when I am waiting..anywhere...it's not a big deal because I can have a little reading time.  Good De-Stresser.

It's like Snoopy says: When you read you don't have to wait for a commercial to go get a root beer.  :)

My dad used to say that he had three favorite types of books--historical fiction, religion and philosophy, and trash.  I've thought about this a lot lately, as I just started Peyton Place.  I know this isn't very lofty, but--I've never read it, and it was a ground-breaker for its day.  Actually it's pretty interesting, and a nice break from all the non-fiction I've been reading lately.

Sometimes I like to re-visit authors I haven't read in awhile.  I have an Andrew Greeley on the backburner coming up next.

I am reading about 2 or 3 books at the same time.  Get bored and start another than go back to the first book.

I like to cuddle up with a book when the weather is nasty outside.  A warm blanket and a book, a cure for anything.

This does not come as a complete surprise.  A fundamentalist without a closed mind would be more surprising.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I've always loved to read.  On my quest for self knowledge I read a lot of psychology/self-help books, then moved up to spiritual/self-help.  Last year I got tired of being so serious all the time and shifted back to fantasy/sci-fi.  I picked up a shelf full of that genre from the libraries exchange bin.  This year I decided to add back some spiritual study, one day a week.  There's so much out there that I want to take in.

Primarily non-fiction. Of the 28 books I've read so far this year, only two have been fiction.  One was Ivanhoe, and the other was Les Misérables.

I read fiction 99% most of the time and a possible 1% non-fiction some of the time.
