CFB Top 25
« on: October 17, 2012, 12:00:16 pm »
My team, Boise State is ranked 22nd in the BCS standings.  Now, I've watched every single game this year and I can say there's probably 25 teams that could beat them in their current state.  That being said, there's plenty of other teams that are ranked high just because of their previous work over the decades.  Anyone else getting bored with the ranking system that puts teams in front of other teams just because they have previous clout to stand on?  I thought it was suppose to be the best 25 teams THIS year, not the best 25 teams based on 1900-2011 that have a good record.  Take Nevada for example.  They're 5-1 after beating Cal (Pac-12) and losing to USF (Big East) by 1 point at the last second of the game.  Then, there's Texas who's lost their last two games and is ranked in the top 25?
